AT DAWN’S EDGE
Mixing the beautiful and the heavy. Enamoured by the grandiose sound of orchestral arrangements and cultural motifs, yet unwilling to part with the aggressive and electronic qualities of metal, At Dawn’s Edge relentlessly pushes the bounds of groove and symphony. After the release of their first EP in May, 2015, titled First Contact, At Dawn’s Edge promoted it throughout Eastern Ontario and Quebec, Canada. They’ve played in Montreal with local big acts such as Karkaos, a show organized in part by Maple Metal Records, as well as having the opportunity to open for The Agonist, and Sonata Arctica in Toronto. 2017 brought forth a new look, and a new sound to their upcoming debut album, Through Glass Eyes, and now the band is preparing to extend their sonic reach to an international audience.

Drawing inspiration from contemporaries such as Metric, Timber Timbre, Warpaint, The Velvet Underground, Stars, The Brian Jonestown Massacre, Radiohead, and Broken Social Scene…

Scotty IV (pronounced ‘eye – vee’), represents the other side of the hip hop scene in Toronto. Over the past 7 years, Toronto has slowly etched its own name within the music scene as one of the world’s most revered hotbeds of talent. However, only a select pocket of talent has risen to prominence. Scotty IV and his Stay Out Late collective aim to change that narrative. His story is one of juxtaposition. From honor roll student to university drop out, momma’s boy to party rager. From college life to homelessness, and doing what it took to survive. Scotty IV’s range of experiences are vast, and more importantly, unique and have motivated him to ‘change the worlds thinking’ and see all who follow him achieve their dreams.
The Dreamboats are bringing back good ol’ Rock n’ Roll! With a sound that is equal parts Chuck Berry and The Wonders, this quartet of handsome Canadian boys delivers a high energy, nostalgic show that has audiences singing and dancing the night away!
This is a Crisis
This Is A Crisis hails from the gritty basements and dirty venues of Oshawa, ON. Comprising a high energy live show with a crushing dual guitar attack and trio of vocals, T!AC channel punk rock energy with heavy metal intensity. Following numerous lineup shuffles in late 2016, the band has resolved itself with Port Perry’s Brett Lavender on lead vocals, Oshawa’s Felix Bouchard, lead guitar, and Kyle Russell, drums, Pickering’s Andrew Brien on rhythm guitar, and Mississauga native Russ Shipman on bass. The band continues their sonic bombardment and riotous performances with no end in sight.
