Post-Hardcore raconteurs, CONVERSATION, can be summed up in one word. Honesty.
From moments of absolute chaos to more melodic and intimate musings, CONVERSATION have found the thin line that connects aggression and beauty.
Their lyrics are as penetrating as the most poignant of exchanges, focusing on an undying need to question societal norms and the relationships built within. It’s that kind of raw and relatable message that has them connecting with bigger and bigger crowds in their hometown of Toronto; and every city they visit.
If you take one thing away from listening, watching or speaking with CONVERSATION it should be the honest truth that this is everything – and this is now.
POLARITY’s not your average independent band, they’ve thrived being DIY for a decade! playing hundreds of shows and festivals across the country.
The band’s style of alternative rock isn’t one Toronto’s indie scene is used to hearing. The emotional charge in the music is evident, heartfelt and honest and the band’s mission has always been to create music with substance that hits deep. “Authenticity is key to connecting with an audience thirsty for meaning in their music” says vocalist Jasmine Virginia. “If you haven’t walked away from a POLARITY show either loving or hating we what do, we haven’t done our jobs.”
Since their formation in 2008 the band’s list of accomplishments includes three studio albums, working with Grammy-winning producers including David Bottrill and Joao Carvalho, Canadian radio play on mainstream rock radio including Rebel 101.7, 97.7HTZ FM & 94.9The Rock FM and half a million views on the official POLARITY YouTube channel.
A staple of the Toronto scene for close to ten years, The Anti-Queens are an ultra hard-working, punked up rock n’ roll quartet of super high-powered women poised to take over the world. They’ve become infamous in their hometown of Toronto for their insanely high-energy, take-no-prisoner live performances influenced by the Blackhearts, The Runaways, L7 and the Distillers.
They have toured the US east coast extensively, played all over Canada including some critically acclaimed sets at NXNE, Indie Week, Canadian Music Week, Pouzza Fest, Beau’s Oktoberfest and a bunch more. They’ve shared the stage with awesome bands like Michael Graves, Die Mannequin, the Planet Smashers and have collaborations with Sarah Blackwood (Walk Off The Earth).

“One of my favorite revelations was the Anti-Queens, a 4 piece all girl band from Toronto. They were a throwback to the golden days of pop punk, reminding me of fellow Canadians Liveonrelease. I always appreciate a band who you can tell is really having fun on stage.” – Montreal Rocks

For the past 12+ years The Creepshow have been smashing the whole damn world in the face with their brutaltastic mélange of punk, country, psychobilly and good old-fashioned rock n’ roll. They’ve toured the world, sold a metric shit-ton of records, garnered millions of video views and blown the faces off a ga-zillion fans. The Creepshow has performed in more than 50 countries and shared the stage with Rancid, NOFX, Dropkick Murphys, Tiger Army, Sham 69 and Reverend Horton Heat just to name a few… But the road to infamy hasn’t always been paved with accolades and sold out shows. Over the years, the band has been fraught with innumerable hardships along the way. From robberies and wrecks to line-up changes and countless personal obstacles, the band has lived through it all. And they always come out on top. With the debut of their first album “Sell Your Soul” in 2006, The Creepshow was immediately catapulted to the forefront of the bourgeoning international psychobilly/punk scene and opened the door for them to bring their eye and ear scorching live show to the four corners of the earth. The release of “Run For Your Life” (2008 Epitaph/Stomp), “They All Fall Down” (2010 Epitaph/Stomp) and “Life After Death” (2013 Stomp/Sailors Grave) further cemented the band as one of the most impressive, critically acclaimed and well-respected touring acts out there. Which brings us to the epic new album “Death At My Door” released in September ’17. Ten tracks of raging, bloodcurdling and raucously rebellious fury showcase the very best from this roadharderned group of beautiful misfits. The haunting vocal stylings of Kenda Legaspi soar seamlessly over Chuck Coles’ buzzsaw sharp guitar lines and the ragtime gospel organs/keys of the Reverend McGinty; all the while held together by the hard-driving stand-up double-bass slapping rhythms of Sean McNab and the impossibly violent percussive assault of Sandro Sanchioni on drums. From the defiant and empowering “Sticks & Stones” and the incredibly anthemic “Til Death Do Us” to the circle-pit inducing “Tomorrow May Never Come” and the eerily heartwrenching ballad “My Soul To Keep”, Death At My Door is a diverse and addictive album from a genre-defying band who are at the very top of their game… Don’t sleep on this one, because you never know what’s waiting for you just outside your door.

The Southdowns are a roots rock band from Mississauga (Ontario, Canada), featuring a subtle southern flavor and complex, radio friendly melodies. They are inspired from a number of musical backgrounds – Blues, Hard Rock, Southern Rock and Country Music. Formed on Southdown Road in Mississauga Ontario (hence the name!) Jeff Vetere and Joe Bosi began writing material for what would become The Southdowns back in 2010. In 2016, Jeff reunited the songwriting duo with a group of his former high-school bandmates, to form a distinct sound of rock and roll.
While their music immediately stands out with heartfelt lyrics, melodies and strong riffs, their sound is distinctly unique due to each of the union of diverse bandmember influences – country, blues, rock, metal, punk and funk. Their ultimate aim is to inspire their listeners to recapture the devotion, magic, pure love and passion of Rock and Roll.
The Southdowns are currently hard at work in the studio with Producer, songwriter, guitarist, multi-instrumentalist, and five- time Juno nominee Mladen Alexander, recording a new album, to be released in 2019.

Haviah Mighty didn’t need to change her birth name when she decided to dedicate her career to music. In fact, Mighty couldn’t be more accurate a word to describe the 26-year-old artist, named one of XXL’s 15 Toronto Rappers You Should Know in 2019.
Raised in a musical household in Brampton, Ontario, Mighty started singing at the age of 4, rapping at 11, and producing at 15.

With three EPs already under her belt, it was her fourth project, Flower City (2017), that propelled her solo career into further success. In 2018, Mighty’s track “Vámonos” appeared on HBO’s hit series, Insecure. That same year, Mighty was declared winner of the prestigious 2018/2019 Allan Slaight JUNO Master Class.
Haviah’s explosive live show, filled with in-your-face intensity and her fast, technical flows, has also quickly developed her reputation as one to keep an eye on, earning her opening slots for acclaimed artists like Sheck Wes, Nelly, Desiigner, Kranium, A Tribe Called Red, and Snoop Dogg.
